On June 3, 2009, the LVHIMA held their annual meeting at the historical Hotel Bethlehem. Five CEs were offered, including presentations on the Legal Health Record, Living Wills/Hospice Care, MS DRGs, and RACs. The student scholarship awards were presented to Donna Miller who attends Muhlenberg College, class of 2010, and Patricia Neill, who attends Gwynedd Mercy College, class of 2010. Each received $500.00. Lastly, Yeva Madden, was installed as the incoming president of LVHIMA. All enjoyed the informative education, a delicious lunch and a wonderful atmosphere. We are all looking forward to an exiting new year!
